 | Day 2 Pakbeng - PakOu - Luang Prabang... continue your boat journey that pass areas of unspoilt forests dot by few villages and explore the crammed PakOu caves where thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues to be hidden in the ancient cave shrine; landing the Luang Prabang city that declared a World Heritage site thanks to its many distinctive pagodas, French colonial architecture and a former Royal Palace. |

 | Day 3 Luang Prabang - KuangSi waterfall.... observe the early morning alms giving from the locals to the saffron-robe monks; discuss Laotian Buddhism with Theravada-follower over a vegan meal; take a short drive to the beautiful KuangSi waterfall where you can splash around in the turquoise pools offered from the huge and multi-tier waterfall and walk along the forest paths as it is so green the surroundings. |

 | Day 4 Luang Prabang - Xieng Khoang.....get a reward drive as you travel through magnificent karst mountains covered in dense jungle to reach this remote but well known Xieng Khoang province, home to the mysterious Plain of Jars. |

 | Day 5 Plain of Jars.... a curious morning as you follow an archaeologist through the rolling fields scattered with huge stone jars; the largest of which weight a staggering six tons; learn some of the theories put forward to explain the origins of these jars and the culture that created them |

 | Day 6 Vientiane (flight Xieng Khoang-Vientiane)...  discover the sleepy charm of Laos' riverside capital with its many serene pagodas and stupas; curious yourself why the daily life running over here that short as you feel a slow-pace city and find no rush hours. |

 | Days 7 & 8 Pakse (flight Vientiane-Pakse).... stroll past crumbling French colonial villas in what was once a bustling French colonial trading town and is now a forgotten outpost surrounded by coconut palms; marvel at the magical beauty of the Angkor-era temple of Wat Phou-Champasak that set on a hilltop overlooking the lush rice paddies and lakes. |
