Veteran revisit
With improving Vietnam-U.S relations and, in the spirit of promoting understanding and friendship, we offer this theme through Vietnam, where American soldiers fought, lived and went on R&R. These special programs are tailored for those who served in Vietnam and would like to re-visit former locations and areas of combat activities of their military units, the Viet Cong war zones and, especially, former battlefields. While many of our programs are designed for returning American soldiers, conversely, we also offer extensive programs for veterans from all other countries that wish to visit the sites of former bases and combat zones.
Visitors will find much of interest while experiencing “the New Vietnam” and comparing busy cities, such as Saigon with areas like Cu Chi Tunnels & Tay Ninh Province; explore the DMZ, the U.S base at Khe Sanh, Ashau-Aluoi valleys, Hamburger Hill, as well as the heritage sites of Hoi An ancient town and Hue, the former capital; contrast the former battlefield in the Central High Plateau with the romantic paradise of Dalat.
Then, depending on your time frame, we can save the best for last with a beach break at some of the most beautiful beaches along the coastline of Vietnam. In short, Vietnam is defiantly different… hardly surprising, as it has had to confront so many challenges to get to where it is today.
