Day 1&2  Hanoi... be enthralled by the diverse outdoor activities of the locals in the enchanting Old Quarter and challenged by the millions of motorbikes that seem to come from all directions. The city is full of charms and lures thanks to the combination of the old French colonial influence and the thousands of house-shops in every corner; enjoy a famous traditional water puppet performance, which is unique to the northern culture.

Day 3&4, Halong... be captivated by the natural beauty of this World Heritage site, where the dragons of ancient legends descended. Serene skies, splendid rock formations and emerald waters greet you as you sail around the Bay; taste the best local seafood prepared in style and experience the memory of a life by time spending a night aboard a traditional junk in this mythical Bay.

Day 5&6 Sapa (night train Hanoi-Laocai on night 4^th) ... sit back and admire the breathtaking views of mountains, minority villages and terraced rice fields; trek up and down the valley, dotted with traditional houses of the H'mong & Dao peoples, so picturesque they will bring out the photographer in you, or simply relax with a cup of hot chocolate and put your mind at peace as you look over the verdant mountains nearby from your hotel balcony.

Day 7 Hanoi (or NinhBinh)... today, you may want to relax or shop at the Old Quarter of this colonial city; or, choose a visit to Tam Coc- Kenh ga, where you’ll glide down a narrow stream on a sampan, passing through caves and green paddy fields that will make you feel you are somewhere in paradise.

Day 8 Depart Hanoi... a day at leisure or browsing for last minute souvenirs before your flight home or going onward to Danang or Saigon.
