The North Vietnamese Adventure

We think the tour arranged for us was a wonderful way to see that part of North Vietnam and enjoy the people, culture, spectacular views of the many lakes, waterfalls and mountains.

We couldn’t have been happier with our home stay at Hai Dang Lodge as we so enjoyed the company of our hosts, Hoai, Thao and their son Dang. Many thanks to Tuyen, so much more than a guide, and we kept him busy being an interpreter during our stay with them. We all enjoyed it so much, we were invited to a special family dinner the second night, and if we thought there was a lot of food the first night, you couldn’t see the table on the second night.

During the whole trip, Tuyen was a wealth of information and happy to share with us his knowledge of Vietnamese history and culture. This for us, was such a bonus and a large part of the reason we came to visit Vietnam, to learn more of the culture. Tuyen went out of his way to make sure every part of our trip went smoothly and we were kept comfortable on longer trips with regular breaks to stretch and refresh.

Halong Bay was breathtaking, how enjoyable cruising along taking in the unique scenery while being served a multiple course lunch.

IndoChina did a wonderful job organising this private tour for two, it was nice to have everything taken care of and nothing to worry about. Even before the tour officially began, you guys helped us to get a sim card, on the way to the hotel and not at the airport.
