  Independence Palace (Dinh Độc Lập) is also known as Reunification Palace. It was built by French in 1868. The Reunification Palace was once the most beautiful buildings in Asian – the residence of the most powerful people and is also witnessed many historical events in nearly 100- year ups and downs of Saigon. Cu Chi Tunnels

    About 70 km northwest of Saigon, Cu Chi Tunnels is a defense system in the ground in Cu Chi District, Saigon. Built in 1940s with simple tools and bare hands, this approximately 200 km long system is “ an underground village”, a shelter, an ambulance place, a meeting place and an arsenal of thousand Vietnam soldiers during the Vietnam war( 1954- 1975). These stifling tunnels are thoroughly beyond human imagination.
