Day 01: Phnom Penh Arrival

Welcome to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. You are accompanied by your local English tour guide to the hotel. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 02: Phnom Penh City Tour

Phnom Penh day tour will bring you to the most striking sights it has to offer at your own comfort and pacing. If you plan to travel to Cambodia, do not miss Phnom Penh in your itinerary.

After breakfast at your hotel, our guide and driver will pick you up for the city tour. The journey embarks with Silver Pagoda, which is on the same ground as the famous Royal Palace. We then continue our visit to the National Museum and the Royal Pavilion to see the various admiring artifacts and art of Khmer.

Followed by a lunch in a local restaurant, you will move to the Toul Sleng Museum of Genocidal Crimes. After that, the next destinations are Cheung Ek Killing Fields, Independence Monument and busy Central Market.

Last stop of the Phnom Penh day tour is the renowned Wat Phnom, the namesake of the capital Phnom Penh.

Day 03: Phnom Penh - Battambang

Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up at your hotel and depart for Battambang by overland transfer (290 km. 4-5 hrs drive). Stop at the Silversmith village, see the pottery manufactories in Kompong Chhnang and visit also a fish market.

Arrive in Battambang, and check-in at the hotel. Walk through the town to discover its beautiful colonial architecture and followed by central market of Battambang – Psanat. The same afternoon, we are also enjoying bamboo train village with a great experiences of the local homemade funny train sliding on a railway at Oudombong Village.

Day 04: Battambang City Tour

Drive along the picturesque Sangker River to Wat Slaket Pagoda, the residence of the former provincial Buddhist patriarch. Continue to visit Wat Ek Phnom. Visit a market where Prahoc, the Cambodian fish paste, is made.

Visit the Provincial Museum (closed on Saturdays / Sundays) and the local market. Drive to Phnom Banon, with its five sandstone towers on top of a hill and enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding plains until sunset. End of the day, enjoy a short ride on a famous bamboo train.

Day 05: Battambang - Drive to Siem Reap

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer overland to Siem Reap by private car and tour guide. Arrive at Siem check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Les Artisans d’Angkor – Chantiers Ecoles by tuk tuk. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 06: Siem Reap - Banteay Srei - Ta Prohm

Heading out of town we make our way to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way we make stopover at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends.

Afternoon, visiting the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature and we also explore the surrounded temples if time permits.

Bantea Srei

Day 07: Siem Reap - Roluos - Bang Mealea

Visit the Roluos Group. The monuments of Roluos, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89. Preah Ko erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880.

Bakong the largest and most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Lolei was built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir (now rice fields) by Yasovarman I, the founder to the first city at Angkor. Afternoon, Continue to visit Beng Mealea temple for visit before continue to Siem Reap, the little explored temple of Beng Mealea (XIth c) is waiting to be rediscovered by the adventurous travelers.

The sprawling jungle temple covering over one square kilometer is largely overrun by vegetation. Constructed in a distinctly Angkor Wat style, Beng Melea preceded and may have served as a prototype of sorts for Angkor Wat.

Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to hotel.

Day 08: Siem Reap Departure

Free at own leisure until get pick up and transfer to the airport for the flight departure or onward to your next destination.
