Northern Vietnam – Hanoi and surrounds May 2023

We are 2 Australian couples who recently attending a family wedding in Halong Bay. Over 12 months ago I reached out to Minh from Indochina Voyages to arrange a separate customised 9 day itinerary prior for us to the wedding. The final itinerary including a full day tour of Hanoi then onto Mai Chau, Pu Luong, Ninh Binh and then Tuan Chau for the wedding, including transfers from the airport and to the wedding. The planning by Minh and his team was outstanding. Our English speaking guide Vito was awesome – engaging, humorous and intuitive providing us with answers to all of our million questions. Our driver Mr Hoa was very comfortable and accomplished with the challenging traffic conditions in Hanoi and in the country – like when we wanted to stop and have a look at a rice threshing machine on the side of the road next to the rice fields. LOL. When we returned to Hanoi after the wedding Minh further arranged for two separate day trips for us at short notice. Our lovely guide Snow showed another layer of Hanoi and surrounds that we really enjoyed. I would recommend Indochina Voyages to any Australian wanting to visit Vietnam.
