Extraordinary Vietnam experience — Pu Luong, Ninh Binh, Bai Tu Long Bay

My wife, two adult daughters and I just had the most incredible 4-day excursion in northern Vietnam during our month-long tour of SE Asia thanks to our awesome Indochina Voyages travel consultant, Ms. Hue Nguyen. She is absolutely the best!! What started as a simple inquiry turned into a private two-day Bai Tu Long cruise on Bhaya Legend 2 (her suggestion when we said we didn’t want big boats and big crowds in Ha Long Bay), and later another private, guided 2-day/2-night tour of Pu Luong and Ninh Binh. The latter was also Hue’s suggestion when we mentioned similar concerns about Sapa. She put the whole thing into one complete itinerary with all the customizations we asked for. Pu Luong was a highlight, authentic hill villages and zero other tourists in sight. Hue even managed to get a last minute Vietnam visa for my daughter who had overlooked that requirement, just in time for our flight into Vietnam. All in all, Hue could not have been more helpful, responsive, creative and thoughtful in all her planning and communications with us — she is the best!! Ask for her, you will be glad you did!
