Four week trip through Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos

My wife and I, who are an active Canadian couple well in their seventies decided to see these countries while we are still motivated to do so. The trip started in Hanoi and included the following destinations: Hoi An and Saigon in Vietnam, Siem Reap in Cambodia and Luang Prabang in Laos. It was planned around an 8-day riverboat cruise up the Mekong River from Saigon to Siem Reap. We are well traveled having visited approximately 50 countries during our lifetime,10 of which have been in Asia. We consider this to have been our best trip ever.

This would not have been possible without the guidance and expertise of Huyen Nguyen of Indochina Voyages. With exception of our travel to and from Indochina and the riverboat cruise, Huyen arranged most everything else from flights, ground transportation, hotels and daily excursions within Indochina. Huyen was very receptive to our needs in terms of the type of hotels we like to stay in, the selection of the various excursions we wanted to participate in and to the timing of everything.
During the entire trip, there were no issues whatsoever with what transpired. Perhaps, needless to state, we would highly recommend the services of Huyen Nguyen and Indochina Voyages. We have already highly recommended the same itinerary to family members and friends.
