The hotels were all in a perfect location and were very comfortable. The drivers and guides were always prompt. The activities were interesting and informative. Highly recommended!!
Favourites: Hanoi, Sapa, Ho Chi Minh City
More time: Ho Chi Minh – probably could have stayed there for another day or two
Less time: Mekong Delta – seems to have lost it’s tourist sparkle
Didn’t fit: Angkor Wat – in retrospect Cambodia was so different than Vietnam, I now recommend to my friends to do Cambodia with Thailand, not with Vietnam
Best activities: Vespa food tour in Ho Chi Minh, Trekking in Sapa
Favourite Hotels: Viroth’s Siem Reap (sensational), Little Hoi An
Least favourite hotels: Can Tho Eco Resort – accommodation was great but food and drink was very poor
