Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Hanoi at 8:00 AM. Accompanied by your guide and driver, you’ll embark on the drive to the picturesque region of Mai Chau.

Along the way, you’ll make a stop to visit the Muong tribe, immersing yourself in their unique cultural heritage. You’ll also have the opportunity to take in the stunning panoramic views from the Thung Khe Pass.

Upon arriving in Mai Chau around noon, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch hosted by a local family. After the meal, you’ll set out on a trek through the captivating terraced rice paddies and charming villages of the region. This will allow you to discover the natural beauty of the valley and gain insights into the culture and traditions of the Thai ethnic minority people, including visiting the villages of “Pom Coong” and “Na Phon.”

In the evening, you’ll return to your accommodation for some leisure time before being treated to a lively and engaging live performance featuring traditional dance and music.

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll depart Mai Chau at 8:30 AM, accompanied by your guide and driver, for the stunning region of Pu Luong. Along the way, you’ll journey through a breathtaking mountain pass that offers panoramic vistas of the entire valley.

After approximately 2 hours of driving, you’ll arrive at your accommodation in Pu Luong and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, where you’ll begin your exploration of the area’s stunning water wheels. Get up close to these ingenious constructions and discover how the local communities use them to channel water from the river into handmade bamboo aqueducts.

Next, you’ll have a short rest at a local fisherman’s house before embarking on a thrilling bamboo river rafting experience with a skilled boatman. As you float along the calm river, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to paddle and steer your handcrafted raft, all while taking in the scenic views.

The journey will culminate at the picturesque Tan Lap Bridge, where you’ll disembark and be transferred back to your hotel for a well-deserved dinner.

After your trek, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for a well-deserved lunch. At noon, you’ll check out of your Pu Luong accommodation and bid farewell to this stunning region, as you move on to Ninh Binh, often referred to as “Halong Bay on land.”

Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, you’ll check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. The evening is yours to spend at leisure, with an overnight stay in Ninh Binh.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred directly to the boat pier in Ninh Binh around 8:00 AM. Here, you’ll board a rowing boat to explore the picturesque waterways of the Trang An ecological site. The contrasting landscapes of forested limestone mountains reflected in the emerald waters, alongside the network of caves, lowlands, and rivers, create a truly mystical, fairytale-like scene.

During your boat trip, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a remarkable system of 11 caves, each featuring beautiful stalactites in a variety of shapes and colors. After this captivating experience, you’ll enjoy a local lunch before beginning the journey back to Hanoi, where your tour concludes.
