Pu Luong Retreat 3 Days

After breakfast, your adventure begins at 8:00 AM when our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel for the drive to Pu Luong, known as a hidden gem in North Central Vietnam. Along the way, you’ll traverse a breathtaking mountain pass that offers panoramic views of the surrounding valley.

After approximately 4.5 hours of driving, you’ll arrive at your accommodation and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll be taken to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, where you’ll embark on a walk to discover the stunning water wheels. You’ll have the chance to get close to each wheel and learn how water is transported from the river to handmade bamboo aqueducts through various simple constructions.

Next, you’ll visit a local fisherman’s house for a short rest before gearing up for an exciting bamboo river rafting experience with a local boatman. As you float along the calm river, you’ll take in the beautiful scenery while learning how to paddle and steer your handcrafted raft. The journey concludes at the scenic Tan Lap Bridge, where you’ll disembark and be transferred back to your accommodation for dinner.

After an early breakfast, you’ll begin your descent into the stunning valley, where you’ll stroll among the cascading rice terraces. As you trek along small paths enveloped in lush vegetation, a picturesque village will gradually come into view, nestled at the base of a towering mountain. Be prepared to capture the beauty around you with your camera.

Continuing your journey through the valley, you’ll weave between roads, farmland, villages, wild fields, ponds, rivers, and open land, savoring the ever-changing landscape. You’ll reach a beautiful spot where you can enjoy a simple picnic lunch.

After your meal, you’ll have some free time to explore the refreshing waters of a nearby river before returning to your pickup point for the transfer back to your hotel.

After breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in village life and interact with the locals living in the hills above the Retreat. You’ll gain insight into their daily routines as you walk through working farmland and rice fields, learning about the traditional processes of making rice wine and weaving colorful textiles.

Following this enriching experience, you’ll enjoy lunch at the Lodge. At 12:00 PM, you’ll check out and bid farewell to Pu Luong as you begin your journey back to Hanoi, marking the end of your services.
