Often, you’ll start by taking a ferry from Phu Quoc to Ha Tien (about 1 hour and 15 minutes), a coastal town in Vietnam. Super Dong and Phu Quoc Experess, Thanh Tho offers speedboats from Phu Quoc Port to Ha Tien Pier with many different times per day to choose from.
90% by road
From Ha Tien, you can then continue your journey by bus to cross the border into Cambodia. Once in Cambodia, you can travel by bus or arrange for a private transfer to reach Siem Reap.
Ha Tien Pier – Crossing border – Siem Reap by bus:
If choosing buses from this route, after spending 1 hour by bus from Ha Tien to the border, you’ll stop at Kampot in Cambodia and then continue to transfer to another bus to get to Siem Reap for around 8 hours. Buses from Kampot to Siem Reap often leave around 8:30 am or 20:00 pm.
With a total of more than 12 hours to transfer from Phu Quoc to Siem Reap, this option allows you to witness the beauty of both land and sea during your travels. The price for this route (including ferry and bus) is from US $53 to US $83. If choosing a private car, it is around US $72 – US $103.
Ha Tien Pier – Crossing border – Siem Reap by private car:

With who those prefer experiencing many transportations in one route, you could participate in another combination which adds train besides ferry and bus. Same above, you’ll take a ferry from Phu Quoc to Ha Tien. Then you’ll go on a bus to Kep Beach Cambodia. Here you can admire the charming Cambodia beach in Kep as the opportunity before hopping on the train about 4 hours and 50 minutes to transfer to Phnom Penh Station. Once in Phnom Penh Station, you continue to take a bus to Siem Reap (5 hours and 45 minutes).
This route is quite complicated and takes you around a total of 16 hours, but it is also quite cheap (US $52 – US $66) and absolutely gives you many impressive experiences when enjoying a journey from Phu Quoc to Siem Reap.
