Ream National Park – a nature lovers’ paradise

Ream National Park was established in 1993 on a 210 square kilometers area on the Gulf of Thailand. This is a nature lovers’ paradise with nearly 200 bird species, many kinds of monkeys and it is also the habitat of the pangolin. Besides, a variety of water and jungle fowl can be seen by visitors, though the park also contains rarely glimpsed species such as mouse deer. Furthermore, macaques and sun bears live in the forest. Smaller felines such as the “fishing cat” can be seen along the edges of the forest. This park has landscapes for anyone:  mangrove forests, a mountainside waterfall, and miles of beaches.
