From the center of Battambang, a rocky road led us to a stopping point of bamboo train. It was an abandoned house with a big yard full of bizarre bamboo trains that we never ever seen before. It is the most rudimentary vehicle I have seen in my life, I can even say that bamboo train in Battambang cannot be more rudimentary: a large bamboo raft, as big as around 5 m2 which was assembled from smaller bamboo bars and then placed on two iron bars with 4 wheels and a small generator used to run the train
At the very beginning, it was a little bit scary because you could see the kinks in the track and the speed that it was going on such a fragile setup.
