Day 01: DONG HOI - PHONG NHA CAVE - PARADISE CAVE
At 8:00 AM, our car and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Dong Hoi for the drive to Paradise Cave, the longest dry cave in Asia, located in the core zone of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. The journey is approximately 75 kilometers and takes about 80 minutes.
Upon arrival, you will take a golf cart ride through the jungle for 1.6 kilometers, leading you to the base of the cave. The climb to the entrance offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountainous region.
At 12:30 PM, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Phong Nha village, where you can savor traditional Vietnamese dishes. Vegetarian options are available, so please inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions.
After lunch, you will depart for Phong Nha Cave, taking a traditional dragon boat for a 25-minute ride to the entrance. Known as a water cave, it features an underground river. Once inside, you’ll explore 300 meters of the cave on foot, taking in its famous rock formations, which are known by names such as the “Lion,” “Fairy Caves,” “Royal Court,” and “Buddha.”
By 5:00 PM, you will return to your hotel in Dong Hoi. The rest of the evening is free for you to relax at your leisure. You will spend the night in Dong Hoi.
Note: Please remember to bring swimwear and a towel if you plan to swim between April and September.
